Here's the thing: Christian Ledesma is already looking ahead. Fresh from attending an event in Balcarce as part of the ACTC board of directors, the man from Mar del Plata is fully focused on the upcoming Turismo Carretera round this weekend at the Autódromo Ciudad de San Nicolás in the province of Buenos Aires. Having successfully qualified for the Copa de Oro, he is hunting for a strong performance to push himself closer to the sharp end of the playoff battle.
Things didn't entirely go to plan last time out in San Luis, where he managed to collect 16 points and currently sits in the 11th position within the Copa de Oro. Piloting the Camaro N°14, he crossed the finish line in the 20° spot during the playoff opener. Now, he is eager to turn the page and tackle what he describes as one of the most beautiful circuits on the entire Turismo Carretera calendar.
His Chevrolet Camaro machine is under the care of the Pradecon Racing squad, a beast they have been constantly refining.
There is also a handy logistical bonus for the outfit heading into this meeting. The circuit sits reasonably close to the team, buying them precious extra time for preparation.
